Last full day of this trek. Once a trek starts, it just zooms by. Quite an interesting day.
Elder Kennedy came to help us as Sister Jensen didn't feel well. Elder Kennedy is an avid hunter and loves to talk about his adventures. He did so today along the trail. In fact, Elder Petersen spotted a moose today as it plowed through a fence. it was nice to be with Elder Petersen all day. This is our last full trek as we will be leaving next week (during our last trek) to travel to Leavenworth, Washington for Jaxtin's baptism. Here are some pictures for the day.
This is a young man who is blind. He has walked the whole way, so proud of him.
Elder Petersen rounding up the troops and getting them on their way.
This is my very favorite handcart of all time. Love the American Flag!!! Thankful for this country and all those that died for freedom that we can enjoy it today and feel the pioneer spirit.
This is the trail boss Colby Dabb and his son Garrett
This is the Stake President admiring the Elk Shed Elder Kennedy found. He has found numerous sheds here on the ranch.
