Last Day of Trek 4

July 2, 2015

Very busy week!  We didn't get home until 10:45 last night. Our group had a hoe down last night and those kids did not want to quit dancing!  They get their second wind around 9 pm when the sun goes down.
They will be getting up this morning late and leave this after noon around 1pm. They were a great group. Had one man have to leave and go to the hospital because of heat exhaustion and he was one of the medics. If you don't drink enough water, you pay for it
I drove the 4x4 quite a bit this week and Elder Petersen walked alot. Proud of him. It has been way hot!
WE will be heading out tomorrow to Woodruff for the 4th of July Parade and then onto the Grand Tetons. We are just too close not to go see them.
Just haven't had time to enter in this blog because by the time we get back at night, i am exhausted.
and we leave here at 7 am.  here are a few photos of this past week.

This is Sister Kennedy. She is fun to work with. There are 10 missionary couples and two couples are assigned each trek. So we work with a different couple every week. They are from Robertson, Wyoming which isn't very far from here. We have been to their home. Brother Kennedy is quite the hunter. He has hunted in Alaska and has a buffalo and bear rug in their home. This is the perfect mission for him!

This is a steep hill and the kids would have to turn their carts around and hold onto it from the back so it wouldn't get away from them.

This is Brother and Sister Walkenhorst.  He was one of the leaders on this trek.  When i first heard his name, I called him Walking horse. and thought he had Indian heritage. But it is German. and is one word. I was calling after him once and couldn't exactly his name, and called him Riding Horse. He turned around and knew he was the one being sought after. So funny, Such a unique name.  Very nice couple. WE bought a sprayer and filled it with water and he would take it and spray all the kids,
