Blackfoot Idaho South Stake- June 3rd

Blackfoot Idaho South Stake- From left to right,  Brother Carson, Elder Petersen, Brother and Sister Ulrich. They will be arriving on July 22-July 25.  with 200 kids and leaders.

June 4th.  only 5 days and we will be trekking. there will be so many kids this first week!  Went out on the trail with Sister Cowan today so i could figure it out as i will be leading the support people.  I'm feeling much better about so many things now.  Elder Petersen is out right now and sent me a picture of where he is. you can see how beautiful it is from this picture. We spent most of the morning being instructed as to how it will be when a thousand kids arrive here on Wednesday. There are five treks going out at once in all different directions. and they won't even see each other. That's how large this ranch is.
The handcarts are so awesome. What an adventure we are on!!!  Can feel the spirit so strong every day and think about those brave men and woman that were willing to give all for the gospel's sake.

We have had alot of baby goats recently. Thanks to Tyler and Toni for helping us with the herd!le ( It is Tyler's herd too)
Kabe has a baby he is taking care of and Toni has named them all. I wish I could remember the names, but here are the pictures.  some of the names I do remember are, snow There is a picture of Ksenya holding Snow who went camping with them and now thinks she is a person and wants to come in the house. Toni and the kids named each little baby goat and remembers them!  now that is quite the feat!  Sure do love all of your  for all their help in making it possible for us to serve on this mission. And for Amber for taking care of gramma while we are away. For Justin for suggesting we go on a mission now and not wait and for the help of all of you for your love and support and prayers. We are are starting to really get the spirit of this mission and the reason we were called to this one. Excited for our first trek!  love you all. thanks for being such great examples to us!   Elder and Sister Petersen/ Dad and Mom/ Grampan and Gramma Horse.

Yesterday after church Elder Petersen and I and Elder Cowan and Sister Cowen travel\ed to Kamas to look for thje grave of Sarah Amelia Pack.  We did find the grave stone. It is a beautiful area and a beautiful cemetery for the pioneers.  We have a fun trip and wow what a beautiful area. i don't really know why the family settled in Abraham, Utah because Kamas is a beautiful area.  But Abraham has it's own beauty. We had a good day!  Only nine days and we will be starting with our first group for trek and for 9 weeks will have a trek a week.   Here is the picture of the grave site in Kamas
